The way of Abba is a practice sure,
But not a weighty yoke around your neck.
We are not going for perfect or for pure

To simply sing it without show or flair
For it contains the essence of the call
The call to always seek Abba within
The call to be forgiving of all wrongs
The call to see all as your kith and kin

Hallowed and holy is your name
Let your realm come your will be done
Til earth and heaven are the same
Give us this day our daily bread
Forgive the wrongs that we have done
As we forgive those who do wrong
Lead us not into temptation

And guide us safely to your shore
Yours is the power to heal and mend
Yours is the glory evermore
Compose a tune or chant to your own taste.
Do this alone and you’re on Abba’s way
You will have given Abba primacy
Do not parade your faith no need to bray
