A Succinct Twisty Manifesto

I am slowly building up a list of links that I like. I have ambient criteria, but generally do not choose blogs whose background is not white, and whose print is not black, as I am partly color blind

Found this on my search today, on the FAQ page of I Blame The Patriarchy and, since I am doing the I’s as we speak, I shall put it up ASAP.

The Twisty Revolution envisions a post-patriarchal order free of theocracy, corporatocracy, gender, race, deity worship, marriage, discrimination, prostitution, exploitation, the nuclear family, reproduction, caste, violence, the oppression of children, pornography, rape, and government interference, particularly with respect to private uteruses, non-abusive domestic arrangements, drug habits, lives, and deaths.

You might wonder why I can espouse an agenda that excludes deity worship Let’s just say that my favorite text, which I have set to song, is that of Amos who professes to hate and despise feast days, burnt offerings and even songs when they represent the evasive worship of the unjust. As we are all unjust and as I hold no brief for superstition and creeds, I have no trouble with the lingo.

I also believe the language is apposite on the issue of government intrusion and that adherence would end the fatuous war on drugs.

UPDATE: I posted an expanded version of this at HuffPo this (Sat.) AM.

You’re right; it had never occured to me that the colour scheme might be making my blog inaccessible to some people. I’m sorry, that was priveleged of me.
I’m not sure there *is* a black on white colour scheme on Blogger, which sucks. I’ll have a look, anyway.

(To explain – randomly followed your link from IBTP).
