Beyond Creed: Prayer should be a conversation with Abba:
“Prayer is the private conversation to which all are summoned
Prayer is part of our ongoing conversation with Abba
The structure of prayer is nothing more than what Jesus said
When you pray address Abba
Hallow Abba’s name
Pray that earth be more heaven-like
Pray to be fed today
Seek forgiveness for all and in return
Forgive all friends and enemies
Seek deliverance from temptation and evil
Acknowledge that it is Abba who can heal and mend us
And to whom any glory we have to give is rendered
The function of embroidery in religion is obfuscation
