Kindle Is Coming Paper Is Going

I publish my own stuff now. The books just as good as when I had publishers. And they are digital. They do not decimate trees.

These books are mainly available to users of the Kindle.

Kindle is an ebook reader smaller than many paperbacks. It costs over $300 and it has not had a second version yet. The first version was plugged by Oprah and it is now out of stock until February. I don’t own one yet.

You can easily see all my books on Kindle. And on that resplendent page are links to find out more.

Will Kindle make me a fortune? Nothing else on the Web has. HuffPo does not pay. I do not like Adsense. I resist asking for PayPal contributions. Anyway I am not hurting yet as I live like a hermit.

Still the Kindle royalty of about one-third what my list prices are would be excellent income if my Kindle Books attained popularity.

And I have a certain satisfaction in being part of the first wave of writers doing the books of the future. Of course, in 100 years, Amazon might cull slow-sellers from their list of Kindle Books and then I would really be gone for good. Sic Transit Whatever..

You are naturally wondering how YOU can get in on all this. So I will give you a link I believe will do the trick. It took me ages to find it.

It is not exactly simple, but if you have manuscripts for sale it is most satisfying to know there is a place to put them with a few clicks, once you figure it out.

Elucidation from the Kindle order page:

Due to heavy customer demand, Kindle is sold out. Please ORDER KINDLE NOW to reserve your place in line. We prioritize orders on a first come, first served basis. This item will arrive after December 24. Note that Kindles cannot currently be sold or shipped to customers living outside of the U.S.
